博士，副教授，研究生导师，云南省“兴滇英才支持计划”青年人才(全职引进类)，云南省高层次卫生健康技术人才(后备人才)。
致力于人工智能与人机交互、视觉感知与具身智能、深度学习在康复工程的应用、康复机器人及装备等方向研究。
近年来，在中科院一区Top、Nature Index收录、IEEE Transactions系列等期刊发表SCI论文40余篇，其中，ESI全球Top 1‰热点论文3篇、ESI全球Top 1%高被引论文4篇。主持或参与省自然科学基金、重点实验室开放基金、昆明医科大学高层次人才引进科研专项、兴滇英才青年人才专项、国家重点研发计划子课题、国家自然科学基金等科研项目多项，指导学生立项国家级(重点支持)大学生创新创业等项目。
担任Humanities & Social Sciences Communications、Scientific Reports、PLoS One、Discover Artificial Intelligence等期刊编委，担任Data Science and Management、Health Care Science、Journal of Measurement Science and Instrumentation、EngMedicine、Medical Data Mining、Journal of Analysis and Testing、World Journal of Emergency Medicine、Metaverse、Biomedical Engineering Communications、Brain Science Advances、遵义医科大学学报、测试技术学报等期刊青年编委。担任中科院一区Top期刊IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics、IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics、IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing、IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics、Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence、Expert Systems With Applications、Knowledge-based Systems、Journal of Cleaner Production、Pattern Recognition等多种SCI期刊审稿人。
